At the AIB US West Conference, 21 – 23 April 2022, the Teaching & Education SIG has led the panel titled ‘Digitalization of IB Teaching: Implications for Content Delivery, Classroom Experience, and Assessment’, with Cyntia Vilasboas Calixto Casnici, University of Leeds, Marina Schmitz, IEDC-Bled School of Management, Daria Panina, Texas A&M University, and Miguel Córdova, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) delivering their experience on how digitization facilitates IB teaching under the current turbulent situation.
Speakers presented their views on:
- ‘Digitainability – or how can we bring sustainability-related digital tools to the IB classroom?’
- ‘Digitalization of Classroom Experience: Best Practices in Virtual Experiential Learning’
- ‘How Digital Transformation Has Changed Assessment of Students?’
In the panel, participants showed great interest in the timely topics shared by the speakers. In the end, participants have actively enrolled in Q&A sessions and raised interesting questions, shared their opinions and experience of online teaching and hybrid teaching mode.
